Job summary

At Peace Health Care Agency in Pennsylvania seeks an experienced Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide person-centered care to individuals with IDD in home and community settings. You will support daily living activities, mobility, social participation, and behavioral needs.

Qualifications

• Previous DSP experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Promote independence, dignity, choice, and community involvement.
• Provide companionship and support during community activities and appointments.
• Assist with transportation as needed.
• Monitor and document progress, services, and daily activities accurately.
• Maintain a safe, respectful, and person-centered environment.
• Protect individual confidentiality and follow HIPAA and agency policies.
• Communicate effectively with individuals, families, and the care team.

We are seeking an experienced and dependable Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide person-centered care and support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) in home and community settings.

This position is ideal for a DSP who has hands-on experience supporting individuals with daily living needs, behavioral support, personal care, and community participation and is comfortable working independently while following individualized care plans.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct support with ADLs, personal care, mobility, and daily routines
