Job Summary

Join our team as we celebrate over 100 years in a family legacy business. We are seeking a highly skilled EXPERIENCED DIESEL TRUCK CRANE REPAIR MECHANIC. The role involves general truck repairs, electrical and air circuit testing, diesel truck and trailer assessments, and engine accessory repairs or replacements. We value technicians who provide superior maintenance and repairs.

Our Rental Yard is looking for experienced mechanics with their own complete roll-away tool cabinet and portable tool cart, who take pride in their work and can perform various duties as required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose trucks for immediate repairs such as smoking engines and burned-out clutches. Test electrical, hydraulic, and air systems based on manual and observational data.
• Perform preventive maintenance including battery, oil, and filter changes, and inspect brakes, leaks, and other components.
• Inspect brake systems, steering, wheel bearings, electrical, and other critical parts. Identify necessary parts for repair and communicate with the Parts Dept for ordering.

Skills

• Practical experience as an EXPERIENCED DIESEL TRUCK CRANE REPAIR MECHANIC.
• Ability to operate, test, and diagnose various truck components.
• Owns a complete set of mechanic’s tools, including a roll-away tool cabinet and portable tool cart.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience as an EXPERIENCED DIESEL TRUCK CRANE REPAIR MECHANIC.
• Must have own complete set of mechanic’s tools.

Offering

• Hourly full-time position, Monday to Friday, 7:00 am – 3:30 pm.
