Mercedes‑Benz of Loveland is hiring a Diesel Technician to perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on diesel vehicles in a full-time role in Loveland, CO. The technician will use diagnostic tools, test components, and deliver repair work to dealership standards in a well-equipped shop.

Relocation assistance may be provided for qualified candidates, with a focus on safety, accuracy, and timely completion of tasks.

Qualifications

• Two-year college degree in vehicle maintenance/automotive technology preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Strong automotive background and hands-on mechanical skills.
• Ability to work in a team and follow shop procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards
• Test-drive vehicles and diagnose components using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning
• Communicate with the Service Advisor about additional repairs and time estimates
• Complete tasks in a timely manner and maintain records of all maintenance and repair work
• Execute repairs under manufacturer specifications and maintain a clean and safe workspace

Work and live in beautiful Northern Colorado. Relocation assistance may be provided for qualified candidates.

• $35 to $50 Flat Rate based on experience/skill level

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards
• Test‑drive vehicles and test components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed, providing an estimate of time required for additional repairs
• Complete all tasks assigned in a timely manner and maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications
• Maintain the work area in a clean and orderly condition and follow prescribed safety regulations
