Job summary

Gresham Subaru is seeking an Experienced Detailer to join our Service Team. The role focuses on meticulous interior and exterior detailing, including polishing and applying protective coatings to ensure showroom excellence.

Ideal candidates have strong attention to detail and at least 2 years of automotive detailing in a dealership or high-volume setting, with ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of professional automotive detailing experience.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Experience detailing new and pre-owned vehicles in a dealership or high-volume environment preferred.
• Strong knowledge of interior and exterior detailing techniques.

Responsibilities

• Perform complete interior and exterior detailing of new and pre-owned Subaru vehicles.
• Prepare vehicles for delivery, showroom display, and customer pickup.
• Wash, vacuum, shampoo, wax, polish, and clean vehicle interiors and exteriors.
• Perform paint correction and buffing as needed to dealership standards.
• Inspect vehicles for damage and report concerns prior to detailing.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized detailing area.
• Follow all dealership safety procedures and chemical handling guidelines.
• Work closely with service and sales departments to meet vehicle readiness deadlines.

Experienced Detailer Job Responsibilities

Experienced Detailer Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Minimum 2+ years of professional automotive detailing experience
• Experience detailing new and pre-owned vehicles in a dealership or high-volume environment preferred

• Experience with paint correction, polishing, and machine buffers

Corporate requirements: Must be 18 years or older with a valid driver’s license and clean driving record, able to pass a criminal background check and pre-employment drug screen.
