Job summary

19th Street Dermatology, part of Integrated Dermatology, seeks an experienced Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our downtown Washington, DC team. The provider will manage a busy dermatology practice, perform biopsies and cosmetic procedures as appropriate, and collaborate with seasoned dermatologists to deliver high-quality patient care.

The ideal candidate brings dermatology experience beyond training, licensure eligibility in DC, and strong clinical judgment.

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program.
Active PA-C or NP-C certification.
Eligible for licensure in Washington, DC.
Dermatology experience beyond clinical rotations and graduate training.
Ability to independently evaluate and manage dermatology patients.
Strong clinical judgment and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and treat a wide range of dermatologic conditions, including acne, rosacea, eczema, psoriasis, skin cancers, hair loss disorders, and other common skin diseases.
Perform comprehensive skin examinations and skin cancer screenings.
Conduct dermatologic procedures including biopsies, cryotherapy, electrodessication, and lesion removal.
Educate patients and develop individualized treatment plans.
Maintain accurate and timely medical records.
Collaborate closely with physicians and clinical staff to ensure exceptional patient outcomes.
