Experienced Dental Assistant - Mt. Pleasant, WI

Role Overview

As a Dental Assistant, you will work in an environment that encourages learning, team cohesion, and puts patients first.

Requirements
  • Minimum of 6 months of experience working in a dental office in the same position
  • Availability to work some Saturdays
  • Ability to stay until 6:45 pm during weekdays and until 3:30 pm on Saturdays if scheduled
  • Start time at 8:15 am
Preferred Qualifications
  • Familiarity with Dentrix Ascend
  • Cross-trained skills
  • Spanish speaking is a plus

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet and welcome patients, ensuring their comfort and providing education throughout treatment
  • Take and process x-rays and other diagnostic assessments (e.g., iTero 3D scanner, digital photography)
  • Review patient health histories to provide quality care
  • Assist dentists chairside during procedures, following four-handed dentistry practices
  • Use Dentrix for scheduling and record keeping
  • Prepare treatment rooms adhering to safety protocols and OSHA & CDC guidelines
  • Manage supplies and inventory, including placing orders
  • Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow
