South Island Periodontics & Implantology is seeking an experienced dental assistant for a Monday–Friday schedule with no weekends. The role involves preparing exam and surgical rooms, assisting during consults and surgeries, taking digital X‑rays, and maintaining patient records with confidentiality.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience as a dental assistant.
• Proficient in taking digital X-rays.
• Dentrix and Dexis experience preferred.
• Strong customer service skills and confidentiality.
• Familiarity with MS Office, Dentrix, Dexis, Prexion, Eprescribe and Itero is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Prepare and breakdown exam and surgical rooms; assist the doctor with procedures.
• Sterilize instruments with care.
• Update and maintain client dental records.
• Greet customers and address questions.
• Maintain a surgically clean environment to prevent infections.
