Job summary

Queen Creek Smiles Dentistry and Orthodontics is seeking a Dental Assistant to join our team in Queen Creek, AZ. You will support the dentist, take x-rays, maintain a clean and sterile environment, and help provide the best patient experience.

You will work with a caring team using modern dental technology and receive opportunities for CE, paid time off, tuition reimbursement, and community involvement. Competitive hourly pay and benefits are included.

Responsibilities

• Assisting the dentist as necessary to gain the patient’s commitment for the best possible treatment with urgency.
• Maintain a clean, sterile, and cheerful environment where patients feel comfortable and at the direction of the dentist, complete x-rays and intra-oral pictures of patients as appropriate.
• Sterilize and disinfect instruments, equipment, and operatories in accordance with ADA guidelines while complying with OSHA, HIPAA, and other regulations.

The Opportunity

As both a patient and clinician advocate, you are a fundamental part of the Perfect Patient Experience®. As a Dental Assistant, you will be responsible for:

• Assisting the dentist as necessary to gain the patient’s commitment for the best possible treatment with urgency.
• You will also maintain a clean, sterile, and cheerful environment where your patients feel comfortable and at the direction of the dentist, complete x-rays and intra-oral pictures of patients as appropriate.
• Sterilizing and disinfecting instruments, equipment, and operatories in accordance with the American Dental Association guidelines while maintaining strict compliance with State, Federal, and other regulations, (e.g., OSHA, WC, Dental Board, HIPAA, ADA, DOL, HR policies and practices)

Compensation Information

$18.25-$25.50 / Hourly
