Job summary

Dentists of Fort Myers is seeking a Dental Assistant to join the team and support high-quality patient care in a modern practice.

You will assist the dentist, maintain a clean and sterile environment, take x-rays and intra-oral photos as appropriate, and ensure regulatory compliance during procedures. The position offers opportunities for continuing education and professional growth within a supportive community.

Responsibilities

• Assisting the dentist as necessary to gain the patient's commitment for the best possible treatment with urgency.
• You will also maintain a clean, sterile, and cheerful environment where your patients feel comfortable and at the direction of the dentist, complete x-rays and intra-oral pictures of patients as appropriate.
• Sterilizing and disinfecting instruments, equipment, and operatories in accordance with the American Dental Association guidelines while maintaining strict compliance with State, Federal, and other regulations, (e.g., OSHA, WC, Dental Board, HIPAA, ADA, DOL, HR policies and practices)
