The Opportunity

As a patient and clinician advocate, you are a vital part of the Perfect Patient Experience. Your responsibilities as a Dental Assistant include:

• Assisting the dentist to gain the patient’s commitment for the best possible treatment with urgency.
• Maintaining a clean, sterile, and welcoming environment where patients feel comfortable. Assisting the dentist with x-rays and intra-oral pictures as appropriate.
• Sterilizing and disinfecting instruments, equipment, and operatories following ADA guidelines and compliance with all regulations (e.g., OSHA, HIPAA, Dental Board).
