Job summary

Sherwin-Williams is hiring a Delivery Driver for Store #707446 in New Orleans, LA. You will deliver products from our Sherwin-Williams stores using box and flat-bed trucks, ensuring orders are complete, properly packed, and safely delivered to customers.

You will interact with customers, maintain vehicle equipment, and follow routes and schedules. The role requires a valid driver’s license, DOT readiness, and the ability to lift up to 70 lbs. Excellent customer service is essential.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Must have a valid DOT Medical Examiner's Certificate or be willing to obtain one within five business days of conditional offer.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 70 lbs occasionally.
• Must be able to read and understand English well enough to communicate with customers and complete reports.

Responsibilities

• Ensure deliveries meet customer requirements efficiently.
• Load customer orders onto the truck.
• Complete all required forms for deliveries.
• Deliver items safely and on time; transport and unload as needed.
• Maintain the store vehicle and report maintenance needs.
• Provide excellent customer service and handle complaints.
• Follow assigned routes and time schedules; follow traffic laws.
• Maintain a safe driving record and drive legally.
• Prepare delivery-related reports and documents.
• Operate vehicles and equipment such as cars, trucks, forklifts.
• Assist with warehouse duties, tinting, and preparing orders.
