SCIS Intelligence & Investigations is seeking Independent Contractor Field Investigators to support federal background investigation programs. Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Compile findings into clear, concise reports using standardized federal formats.
• Maintain compliance with federal standards, applicable laws, and agency regulations.

Are you a credentialed investigator with federal BI experience and an active Top Secret clearance? SCIS Intelligence & Investigations is seeking Independent Contractor (IC) Field Investigators to support federal background investigation programs. This is flexible, performance-based work for self-directed professionals who thrive working independently.

Work Structure: Approximately 90% remote / 10% field-based. ICs manage their own schedules and caseloads-success here requires strong self-discipline and organizational skills.
