Job summary

Maner Costerisan PC in Michigan is seeking an Experienced CPA to join our tax, audit, or accounting and outsourced solutions teams. We offer growth, mentorship, and a competitive salary package.

Responsibilities include working on assigned engagements, upholding AICPA and state ethics, meeting chargeable hours goals, and staying current with FASB, GASB pronouncements. CPA license or plan to complete CPA within two years preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in accounting or business administration.
• CPA license or plan to complete CPA exam within two years of employment.
• 1-5 years of public accounting experience.
• Excellent computer skills with knowledge and experience.

• Become familiar with all procedures and programs necessary for completion of audit and review engagements.

We are always looking for experienced CPAs for either Tax, Audit or Accounting and Outsourced Solutions.

Essential Functions:

• Work on assigned segments of engagements, in some instances assuming substantial responsibility engagements
• Adhere to Firm policies and procedures and the AICPA and Michigan CPA society’s rules, regulations and code of ethics
• Meet chargeable hours goal
• Regularly read and be familiar with pronouncements from the AICPA, Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB), Governmental Accounting Standards Board (GASB), and other standard setting organizations
• Become familiar with all procedures and programs necessary for the completion of audit and review engagements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in accounting or business administration.
• CPA License or plan to complete the CPA exam within two years of employment.
