Job description

What You'll Do
  • Provide testing and consulting services for the built environment, including property condition assessments, specialized testing, building enclosure consulting, forensic investigation analysis, and repair design for existing structures.
  • Demonstrate responsibility, organization, reliability, time management, and self-motivation.
  • Perform field and laboratory testing.
  • Assist in preparing reports, proposals, and projects.
  • Support project activities as needed.
  • Interact with senior staff on various projects.
  • Schedule and oversee facilities technicians.
  • Promote a safe workplace and proper PPE use.
What We're Looking For
  • High School Diploma or GED required; B.Arch, M.Arch (NCARB), or BS in Engineering, Building Science, or related field from an ABET-accredited college preferred.
  • At least 1 year of relevant building facilities consulting experience.
  • Alternatively, 4 years as ECS Facilities Staff Associate or equivalent, with experience in non-destructive testing preferred. Professional certifications (e.g., NRCA/IIBEC, AWCI Certified EIFS Inspector) are preferred.
  • All testing performed must be supported by appropriate facilities certifications, in accordance with the Technician Certification and Pay Policy.
