Job summary

FNF Construction, Inc., a MasTec Clean Energy & Infrastructure (CE&I) company, is seeking an experienced Concrete Paving Operator to support multiple paving operations across the Southwest. You will operate GOMACO GP3, GP-2800, and Commander III machines to meet line, grade, and finish requirements on roadway projects.

This Safety Sensitive role requires travel to project sites, extended hours, and close coordination with survey crews and paving personnel.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of concrete paving or slipform paving experience.
• Experience operating GOMACO GP3, GP-2800, and/or Commander III equipment.
• Knowledge of concrete paving operations, grade control, and highway construction practices.
• Ability to read construction plans and interpret survey markings.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Valid driver's license; CDL Class A or B preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Operate GOMACO GP3, GP-2800, Commander III, and related paving equipment safely and efficiently.
• Set up, monitor, and adjust equipment to maintain paving specifications.
• Ensure pavement meets line, grade, thickness, and finish requirements.
• Perform daily equipment inspections and routine maintenance.
• Troubleshoot operational issues and report maintenance needs promptly.
• Coordinate with project crews to maximize production and quality.
• Follow construction plans, survey markings, and project specifications.
• Assist with equipment mobilization, demobilization, loading, unloading, and setup.
• Maintain a safe work environment and comply with safety policies and OSHA requirements.
• Complete required equipment and production documentation.
