Requirements include three years of concrete finishing experience, basic English command, and ability to read simple measurements. The position follows Layton’s safety policies and may involve supervising apprentice finishers on site.

Qualifications

• Three years of concrete finishing or related work experience.
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with various concrete variables.
• Owns the tools required of the Concrete Finisher position.

Responsibilities

• Champions “The Layton Way” by delivering predictable outcomes for internal teams, external teams, and customers.
• Ensures that “Constructing with Integrity” is delivered by working with honesty, unity, safety, and quality of work.
• Apply applicable materials to hardened concrete walls for a smoother architectural appearance.
• Identify hazards associated with task assignments and ask questions if clarification is needed.
• Comply with all safety policies, practices, and procedures. Report all unsafe activities to supervisor and/or Safety personnel.
• Work effectively as a team member of the field workforce.
• Follow supervisor instructions and decisions.
• Understand and follow lock out/tag out procedures.
• This position may supervise apprentice finishers.
