About the Role:
We’re seeking a Commercial Millwork Drafter/Engineer/Designer with strong AutoCAD 3D skills and a sharp eye for detail and design. This role is ideal for someone who’s not only technically proficient but also deeply creative - someone who enjoys crafting unique solutions for commercial spaces, from boutique interiors to large-scale environments.

You’ll be translating architectural visions into detailed, buildable designs, and collaborating with designers, architects, and shop teams to bring innovative concepts to life.

What You’ll Do:

• Design and draft detailed, custom millwork solutions using AutoCAD 3D.
• Turn architectural drawings and creative briefs into precise shop drawings.
• Solve design challenges with ingenuity, style, buildability, and installation in mind.
• Collaborate closely with architects, designers, PMs, and fabricators to ensure accuracy and creativity throughout.
• Contribute to projects that push the envelope of modern commercial interiors.
• Revise and refine designs as projects evolve - adaptability and vision are key.

What We're Looking For:

• 5+ years of experience in commercial millwork drafting/engineering.
• Advanced skills in AutoCAD 3D (must-have).
• A creative mindset with a strong understanding of design aesthetics and functionality.
• Experience designing for retail, foodservice, hospitality, corporate, or other commercial interiors.
• Familiarity with a variety of materials such as wood, metal and stone, joinery methods, and construction standards (AWI a plus).
• Excellent communication, time management, and problem-solving abilities.

Bonus Points If You Have:

• A background in custom furniture or high-end residential design.
• CNC programming or shop floor collaboration experience.
