Job summary

CoolSys is hiring for a senior service/installation role in the HVAC and refrigeration field. The candidate will repair and overhaul commercial refrigeration and related equipment, including compressors, pumps, air handlers, and control devices, ensuring timely and safe service for customers.

Applicants should have 5+ years of commercial refrigeration experience, EPA certification, and the ability to work independently. On-call availability and a valid driving record are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• EPA certification required.
• A certificate from an accredited vocational-technical or trade school is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Repairs and overhauls of refrigeration, heating, and ventilation equipment to meet customer needs efficiently and on time.
• Repair work on refrigeration systems including compressors, pumps, air handlers, condensers, ice machines, and electric motors.
• Perform preventative maintenance and diagnose equipment malfunctions to ensure quality workmanship.
• Test malfunctioning systems and components using electrical/mechanical skills.
• Maintain legible records of work history and service actions.
• Process job tickets and work orders to the appropriate department.
• Assist with pickup, delivery, and installation of cases.
• Perform minor construction/remodeling duties and startup installations.
• Drive company vehicle safely as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
