Job summary

Shamrock Heating and Air Conditioning, Inc. in New Jersey seeks a skilled HVAC technician to install and service commercial rooftop units, split systems, and associated ductwork.

The role requires reading blueprints and construction documents and performing replacements as needed. You will braze copper piping, install or modify gas lines, and connect low voltage control wiring on varied commercial projects.

Qualifications

• 3 years' experience in HVAC installation or service.
• Clean driving record.
• Must be able to operate a scissor lift and perform duties.
• EPA refrigerant certification.
• OSHA 10 certification required.
• Scissor lift, boom lift and telehandler certifications preferred; training available.

Responsibilities

• The ability to read blueprints and construction documents
• Must have complete understanding of the installation of commercial rooftop units, split systems and ductwork installation.
• Perform replacements on existing system rooftop units and split systems
• The ability to braze copper piping
• The ability to install new gas lines or modify existing
• Understanding and installing low voltage control wiring
