Exact Electric is seeking an Experienced Commercial Electrical Specialist in Seattle. You will install and maintain electrical systems for new construction and tenant improvements, read blueprints, and ensure code compliance.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited electrician apprenticeship.
• Valid WA EL01 General Journey Level Electrician License.
• Minimum 3 years of commercial electrical experience.
• Strong understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC).
• Excellent troubleshooting and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, climb ladders, and work in various construction environments.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain commercial electrical systems for new construction and tenant improvements.
• Interpret blueprints, electrical drawings, and technical specifications.
• Install conduit, panels, lighting systems, breakers, switches, and control equipment.
• Complete rough-in, finish work, and system upgrades.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical issues using industry-standard testing equipment.
• Ensure compliance with NEC, OSHA, and local code requirements.
• Coordinate effectively with project managers, general contractors, and fellow trades.
• Maintain organized work areas while documenting completed work and materials.

Compensation: $62.00-$66.00 per hour, based on experience

Required Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited electrician apprenticeship
• Valid WA EL01 General Journey Level Electrician License
• Minimum 3 years of commercial electrical experience
• Strong understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC)

Preferred Qualifications

• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification
• Experience with fire alarm systems, data cabling, or building automation technologies
