Job summary

AOI Construction Division in Omaha seeks experienced Commercial Carpenters to join our growing team. This hands-on role covers interior carpentry, demolition, framing, drywall, doors, trim, and related activities to bring projects to life.

You will work with skilled field professionals, expand your skills, take on more responsibility, and grow your career with AOI while maintaining safety, craftsmanship, and teamwork on every jobsite.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of commercial carpentry experience.
• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Ability to read blueprints and measure, cut, and install materials to AOI standards.

Responsibilities

• Read, interpret, and execute blueprints to measure, cut, assemble, and install commercial materials.
• Perform commercial interior carpentry including rough and finish work, metal framing, drywall, doors, trim, and hardware.
• Demolition and site preparation for new construction, renovations, and reconfigurations.
• Ensure quality with lasers, levels, and framing squares and communicate issues.
• Protect and maintain the jobsite and client property, keeping spaces safe and clean.
• Collaborate with field teams to meet schedules and quality standards.
• Uphold safety and craftsmanship per AOI and OSHA requirements, using PPE and tools.
