Job summary

Arnold Magnetic Technologies is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist on 2nd shift in Ohio to set up and run multi-axis CNC lathes and mills. You will verify parts against drawings, perform offsets and NC changes, and monitor tool wear to maintain production quality.

Role requires GD&T knowledge, blueprints reading, and experience with Mori Seiki, Mazak, and Mastercam. Candidates must work well on multiple machines and maintain a clean, safe work area.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or technical training in CNC setups.
• 3–5 years of experience setting up and running CNC lathes and mills.
• Ability to read blueprints and understand GD&T.
• Understanding of metric and English measuring systems.
• Proficient with measuring equipment and basic MS Office.
• Knowledge of cutting tools and exotic materials/high temperature alloys.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate and debug CNC lathes and mills.
• Make machine tool offsets to maintain part quality.
• Make minor NC code changes as needed.
• Identify tool wear and perform appropriate changes.
• Read process sheets and drawings with GD&T.
• Work on multiple machines and tasks across the day.
• Enter inspection data into computer software.
• Perform basic machine maintenance and keep work area clean.
• Follow company policies and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.
