AMBAC International is seeking a CNC Machinist / Grinder to program, set up, and operate CNC mills, lathes, and grinders to produce products to customer specifications. In this role, you will collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth workflow, maintain a safe and organized work environment, and contribute to the organization’s success.

To succeed, you should have a minimum of 5 years of CNC programming experience with vertical/horizontal mills, grinding, and lathes, along with programming experience in CAM. Strong shop math skills, the ability to work to metric dimensions, and experience with Lean manufacturing principles and ISO quality systems are essential.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years CNC programming experience with vertical/horizontal mills or ID/OD grinders
• Minimum 5 years lathe experience; some CNC experience
• Minimum 5 years programming in CAM
• Ability to set up and run concurrent jobs on multiple machines
• Proficiency with standard measuring equipment such as micrometers and comparators
• Strong shop math skills
• Ability to work to metric dimensions
• Experience with Lean manufacturing principles and ISO quality systems
