Job summary

CHI Health St. Elizabeth in Lincoln, NE seeks a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) to support patient comfort, safety, and recovery under RN direction.

You will perform basic care, assist with transport, and contribute to the plan of care as part of the interdisciplinary team, while maintaining compassionate service and high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Completion of 75-hour state-approved Nursing Assistant course.

Responsibilities

• Under supervision of a Licensed Practitioner, RN or LPN, participates in the nursing process (assess, plan, implement, evaluate).
• Contributes to health status assessment of the patient.

As a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA), you will be a cornerstone of patient care, directly contributing to comfort, safety, and recovery by providing essential support under RN direction.

• Assessment - Contributes to the assessment of the health status of the healthcare consumer.
• Plan - Contributes to the plan of care through observation, data collection and communication of findings to the appropriate member of the multidisciplinary team.
• Implement - Provides basic patient care activities based on the plan of care and as delegated.
• Evaluate - Contributes to the evaluation of the healthcare consumer by observing responses to interventions and communicating findings to the appropriate member of the multidisciplinary team.
• Documents cares provided in the healthcare consumer's record.

Pay Range

$17.24 - $24.35 /hour
