Job Title: Classic Car Mechanic (Lead Foreman)

Pay: $40.00 - $45.00 per hour

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of automotive technicians specializing in classic car repairs and restorations
• Diagnose complex mechanical and electrical issues using automotive diagnostics tools and schematics
• Perform detailed repairs on powertrain components, including engines (gasoline and diesel), transmissions, and drivetrains
• Conduct vehicle maintenance tasks such as oil changes, brake repairs, suspension work, wheel alignments, and welding repairs
• Interpret schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot systems such as ADAS and automotive electrical systems
• Ensure all work complies with safety standards, dealership procedures, and customer specifications while maintaining high‑quality craftsmanship

Qualifications

• 5 to 10 years of experience with British, European and American classic cars from 1949 to 2012
• Expertise in engine rebuilds, transmission replacements, radiators, brakes, carburetors, alternators or generators, spark plugs, clutches, and electrical operating systems
• Strong knowledge of technical manuals and ability to translate technical jargon
• Proficiency in maintenance of classic vehicles, both independently and collaboratively
• Minimum 5 years experience in engine rebuilds and overall 5 years as an auto mechanic
• Fluent in English
• Must be able to commute to Mountain View, CA
