Job description

Downtown Atlanta Dentistry is a patient-centered dental practice committed to delivering exceptional care in a welcoming and professional environment. Our team values collaboration, innovation, and a genuine passion for oral health. We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our growing practice.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for patient procedures.
  2. Assist the dentist during examinations and treatments.
  3. Provide excellent chairside support and patient care.
  4. Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment.
  5. Take and process X-rays as required.
  6. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
  7. Manage patient records and ensure accurate documentation.
  8. Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Qualifications:
  1. Proven experience as a Dental Assistant (minimum 2 years preferred).
  2. Current certification as a Dental Assistant (RDA/CDA) or equivalent.
  3. Proficiency in dental software systems (e.g., Open Dental, Eaglesoft, etc.).
  4. Knowledge of dental instruments, procedures, and materials.
  5. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
  6. Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.
  7. CPR certification (preferred).
