Experienced CDJR Service Technicians - Newark, DE

i.g. Burton Auto Group is looking to add qualified, experienced auto service technicians to fulfill repair, warranty, and maintenance orders on our vehicles.

CDJR certifications preferred.

Teamwork with other technicians, service advisors, parts department, service manager, and customer interaction is essential. Our technicians need to perform accurate and efficient professional diagnostic inspections, repairs, ensure proper completion of work, follow manufacturer and dealership protocols. Factory training is preferred but not required.

• Accurately assess/diagnose problems utilizing system diagnostics and testing
• Perform thorough, efficient, timely, and quality repairs
• Maintain safety standards and keep a neat work area
• Provide clear communication (written and verbal) to service advisors and management
• Demonstrate professionalism, integrity, honesty, and appropriate behavior with co-workers, management, and customers
• Road-test vehicles to ensure quality repair completion
• Continue technical education regularly

Qualifications:

• Ability to diagnose and repair automotive mechanical problems efficiently
• A.S.E. certification preferred
• Ability to lift, bend, stand, and operate shop tools without impairment
• Professionalism
