You will work out of your home on your choice of a full-time or part-time basis, using your own truck or van to travel to job sites in Birmingham and nearby areas.

Qualifications:

• Successful prior experience with Carpentry, Tiling, Painting, Drywalling, and light Plumbing and Electrical work
• Estimation skills and home inspection experience are strongly preferred
• Ability to perform minor electrical and plumbing tasks
• Own truck or van and set of tools for all trades listed
• Current and valid driver’s license
• Residence within 40 miles of Trussville
• Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Strong documentation and invoicing skills
• Professional appearance and demeanor

Duties:

• Analyze problems independently and determine prompt solutions
• Prepare estimates for repairs, including timelines and budgets, and present them professionally
• Conduct repairs and complete projects in carpentry, tiling, drywall, plumbing, electrical work, and other handyman tasks
• Communicate effectively with craftsmen, homeowners, suppliers, property managers, and management regarding projects, timelines, and budgets
• Manage projects from start to finish, ensuring completion within estimates and budgets
• Deliver quality craftsmanship that ensures 100% customer satisfaction
