George Washington's Mount Vernon is looking for a full-time Carpenter to perform diverse carpentry tasks including cabinetry and framing. Responsibilities include assisting with construction, repairing doors and windows, and maintaining roofing systems. Qualifications

• Minimum of five years of experience in carpentry-related trades.
• Ability to read and understand architectural drawings.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Assist journeyman-level carpenters in constructing partitions, small buildings, and concrete forms.
• Assemble and disassemble scaffolding and other rigging.
• Operate, maintain, and secure woodworking and painting-related tools.
• Repair leaks in roofing systems and maintain roof coverings.
• Install and repair doors, windows, locks, and related hardware.
