Job summary

Zachry Construction Corporation is seeking skilled Carpenters/Form Setters for highway, road, and bridge construction projects in the United States. You will build and set forms for retaining walls, pipes, and bridges, reading blueprints and ensuring safety and quality on site.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of experience in structural forms (Symon, EFCO, wood) and can work outdoors in varying weather. You must provide your own hand tools and be available for day, night, and weekend shifts as

Qualifications

• 3+ years of carpentry experience in forming for CIP structures and heavy civil projects.
• Advanced wood forming experience is required.
• Must provide own hand tools (hammer, pouch, level, wrench, tape measure).
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, sketches, and blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Construct, brace, and secure forms for concrete structures such as retaining walls, pipes, and bridges.
• Build, align, and secure formwork for concrete placement.
• Set and brace forms for retaining walls, bridges, and other structural components.
• Read and interpret construction drawings, sketches, and blueprints to ensure accurate formwork.
• Use hand and power tools to measure, cut, and assemble form materials.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Perform other related duties as assigned to support project needs.
