Job summary

Zachry Construction Corporation is seeking Carpenters/Form Setters for heavy civil construction across highway, road, and bridge projects. You will build, brace, and secure concrete forms, read blueprints, and ensure safety and quality on site.

Required are 3+ years of carpenter experience with advanced wood forming. You must have your own hand tools and endure outdoor work in varying weather. Night/weekend shifts may be needed.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of carpenter experience in all types of structural forms.
• Advanced wood forming experience.
• Must provide your own hand tools (hammer, pouch, level, tape measure, etc.).
• Basic knowledge of operating hand and power tools used in construction.
• Ability to read construction plans, sketches, and blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Construct, brace, and secure forms for concrete structures (retaining walls, pipes, bridges).
• Build and align structure forms for concrete placement.
• Set and brace forms for retaining walls, bridges, and other components.
• Read and interpret drawings to ensure accurate formwork.
