Job summary

Kitchen Tune-Up Central Wisconsin is seeking an experienced cabinet installer/finish carpenter to fit, install and finish components in customers’ homes in Stevens Point, WI.

You will work full-time on weekdays with company tools and a company vehicle, receiving support from a project manager and opportunities for advancement and training.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated cabinet-installation or finish-carpentry experience.
• Ability to measure accurately and complete installation work independently.
• Safe use of the tools required for the assignments.

Experienced Cabinet Installer / Finish Carpenter

Kitchen Tune-Up Central Wisconsin

Location: Stevens Point WI

Pay: $28–$35/hour, based on demonstrated installation skills

Schedule: Full-time, weekdays. No weekend work. Usually 7-4

You know the difference between a cabinet door that closes and one that fits correctly.

Join our team updating kitchens in customers’ homes. You’ll install cabinets, countertops, cabinet doors, drawer fronts, rollouts, hardware, and trim, with company tools, a company vehicle for job travel, and support from a project manager.

What you’ll do

• Measure, fit, and install cabinet components and finish trim.
• Adjust doors, drawers, and hardware for proper fit and operation.
• Protect customers’ floors, counters, and belongings.
• Review job details and flag missing materials or unexpected conditions early.
• Keep the project manager informed and the homeowner aware of daily progress.
• Check your work and leave the workspace clean.

What you must bring

• Demonstrated cabinet-installation or finish-carpentry experience.
• Ability to measure accurately and complete assigned installation work independently.
• Safe use of the tools required for your assignments.
• Reliable attendance and respectful communication with customers and coworkers.
• A valid driver’s license and driving record that meets company vehicle requirements. Ability to perform essential installation tasks, with or without reasonable accommodation. Lifting, carrying, kneeling, and ladder use.

Helpful, but not required

• Cabinet refacing or redooring experience.
• Crown molding, custom trim, and cabinet modifications.
• Experience teaching installation skills to others.

You do not need previous Kitchen Tune-Up experience. We’ll teach you our products and methods.

Location and travel

Report to Stevens Point Shop (east of Menards 5 miles). Most jobs are within 60 minutes with occasional at 90 minutes.You will return to the shop at a reasonable hour and go home in your own vehicle
