  • Coordinate tasks with supervisors and team members.

Overview

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Experienced Carpenter to join our team. This role requires advanced carpentry skills, knowledge of construction methods, and the ability to interpret blueprints and technical drawings. The ideal candidate takes pride in producing quality work, adheres to safety standards, preferred prior history within commercial construction environment and thrives in both independent and team settings.

Responsibilities
  • Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood, plywood, drywall, and other materials according to specifications
  • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and building plans to determine project requirements
  • Install frameworks, doors, windows, cabinets, furniture, flooring, and other wooden fixtures
  • Maintain and repair existing structures and fixtures as needed
  • Operate woodworking machinery, power tools, and hand tools safely and effectively. Must have basic tools (hammer, hand tools, power saw, drill, cords, levels, etc)
  • Ensure projects are completed on time and meet quality standards
  • Train, mentor, and assist junior carpenters or apprentices when required
  • Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors, contractors, and team members to coordinate tasks
Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a carpenter (5+ years preferred) with experience in commercial construction preferred
  • Proficiency in using a wide range of hand tools, power tools, and machinery
  • Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques, construction methods, and building materials
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
  • Attention to detail, precision, and craftsmanship
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to project requirements
  • Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy materials and work in various conditions
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand, kneel, climb, and work at heights for prolonged periods
  • Lift and carry up to 50 lbs. safely
Work Schedule
  • Full-time; 7 am to 5:30 pm Monday through Thursday. Please note that hours may vary depending on project needs, including potential weekends and overtime
