Job Responsibilities

In-home care responsibilities can vary from client to client. Caregiver duties may include:

MAINTAIN INDEPENDENCE

• Drive seniors to appointments, meetings, and church services.
• Help seniors with trips to local Sun City West markets.
• Go to lunch or grab an ice cream with your client.

RESTORE DIGNITY

• Assist with bathing and grooming to keep your clients looking and feeling their best.
• Manage incontinence care to avoid embarrassment.
• Perform light housekeeping to reduce stress at home.

KEEP HEALTHY

• Prepare nutritious meals to maintain vitality.
• Provide medication reminders to avoid hospital readmissions.
• Implement memory care safety measures to keep seniors out of danger.

SUPPORT OTHERS

• Assist with physical therapy exercises.
• Be attentive to hospice care needs as the eyes and ears for medical teams.
• Report any changes in the client’s condition promptly.

Job Requirements

Requirements for caregiver jobs at Adultcare Assistance include:

HEART FOR SENIORS:

• Have a genuine desire to work with seniors.

ABILITY TO WORK:

• Typically 8 or 12-hour caregiver shifts in the Sun City West area.
• Optional overtime often available.

SENIOR SAFETY:

• Pass a criminal background check.
• Pass drug screening test.
• Negative TB test.

TRANSPORTATION:

• Reliable car.
• Proof of auto insurance.
• Valid driver’s license.
