Job Responsibilities

In-home care duties vary per client. Responsibilities may include:

MAINTAIN INDEPENDENCE

• Drive seniors to appointments, meetings, and church services.
• Assist seniors with trips to local Scottsdale markets.
• Go to lunch or grab ice cream with your client.

RESTORE DIGNITY

• Assist with bathing and grooming to keep clients looking their best.
• Manage incontinence care to prevent embarrassment.
• Perform light housekeeping to reduce stress at home.

KEEP HEALTHY

• Prepare meals to maintain vitality.
• Remind clients about medications to avoid hospital readmissions.
• Ensure safety with memory care practices.

SUPPORT OTHERS

• Assist with physical therapy exercises.
• Observe and report hospice care changes.
• Report any changes in client condition.

Job Requirements

Requirements for caregiver jobs at Adultcare Assistance include:

HEART FOR SENIORS:

• A genuine desire to work with seniors.

ABILITY TO WORK:

• Typically 8- or 12-hour shifts in Scottsdale.
• Optional overtime often available.

SENIOR SAFETY:

• Pass a criminal background check.
• Pass drug screening.
• Negative TB test.

TRANSPORTATION:

• Reliable vehicle.
• Proof of auto insurance.
• Valid Driver’s License.
