Qualifications

Must be able to pass Local and Level 2 Background Screening.
1 year of caregiving experience required.
Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

Encourage and support the individual during home activities.
Assist with personal hygiene tasks.
Meal preparation and light cleaning.
Ensure individual's safety and maintain a safe living environment.
Facilitate community involvement by accompanying individual to social events.

Community Resource Network of Florida is looking fora caregiverwho is fun, compassionate, dependable andis committed to helping individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) achieve their highest level of independence and live their best life.

Looking for companion assistance for young adult male whoenjoys gardening, playing basketball,swimming, and being outside.

This is an independent contract position and pays$15.00 per hour

Schedule: 12 hours per week, flexible schedule.

You will be a good fitfor thisposition if you:

Have a positiveoutlook and contagious energy
Demonstrate patience and compassion

Responsibilities and Duties you can expect in the role:

Encouraging and supporting the individualduring homeactivities
Assisting with personal hygiene tasks
Meal preparation and light cleaning
Ensuringindividual'ssafety and maintaining a safe living environment
Facilitate community involvement by accompanying individual to social events, community outings, such as grocery shopping and appointments
Promote communication, choice,independence, and socialization
Complete daily progress notes

Qualifications and Skills
