Job summary

Visiting Angels Central Coast is seeking caring caregivers/CNAs in Monterey County. If you have at least 1 year of facility experience or CNA-equivalent skills, plus dementia care experience and a valid driver’s license with reliable transportation, you may qualify to join our team.

Shifts are available Mon-Sun, 7am–10pm, with flexible scheduling and a focus on compassionate home care. Benefits for full-time staff include health, dental, vision insurance; a 401K plan; paid time off; paid

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year facility experience or CNA-equivalent skill set.
• Hoyer lift experience is required.
• Dementia care experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle and auto insurance.
• Commitment to 40 hours per month minimum.
• Must be a current Monterey County resident.

Responsibilities

• Companionship and conversation.
• Meal planning and preparation.
• Medication reminders.
• Personal hygiene assistance (bathing, grooming, toileting, brief changes).
• Light housekeeping and laundry.
• Hospice care and bed-bound care as needed.
• Dementia care support.
• Transfers with or without hoyer lift equipment.
• Transportation to appointments and errands.
