Job summary

Home Instead - Columbia, MO is seeking compassionate caregivers to provide companionship, personal care, mobility support, and light housekeeping in the Jefferson City and Eldon areas. Immediate start with a schedule of Mon/Wed/Thu 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM and one weekend day, with open availability preferred.

Clients vary from outgoing to quiet, with a focus on respectful, proactive, and patient care in home settings.

Qualifications

• Previous professional caregiving experience is a MUST.
• CLEAR CRIMINAL BACKGROUND.
• Experience with personal care and shower assistance.
• Experience assisting clients who use walkers.
• Valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and auto insurance is REQUIRED.
• Comfortable transporting clients.
• Strong cooking and meal preparation skills.
• Comfortable working in homes with cats and dogs.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and meaningful engagement.
• Assist with personal care and showering.
• Support safe mobility and fall prevention.
• Prepare nutritious meals and organize leftovers.

Availability MUST HAVES:

• Mon/Wed/Thurs: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM
• Saturday OR Sunday availability
• Open availability is preferred
