Job summary

Comfort Keepers is seeking experienced Skilled Caregivers to join our Piedmont, SC team. We provide in-home, one-on-one care for seniors across day, evening, overnight, and weekend shifts. You’ll assist with ADLs, mobility, meals, and companionship while promoting independence and safety.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of professional caregiving experience.
• Availability for day, evening, overnight, weekday, or weekend shifts.
• Reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and auto insurance.
• Ability to pass required background checks and meet employment requirements.
• Experience as a CNA, HHA, PCA, Skilled Caregiver, Home Care Aide, or Personal Care Assistant preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized, one-on-one care to help seniors remain safe, comfortable, and engaged at home.
• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, hygiene, and mobility; support transfers and ambulation.
• Assist with feeding and activities of daily living; encourage independence while ensuring safety.
• Provide companionship, prepare meals, reminders for medications, light housekeeping, and transportation as needed.
• Observe changes in clients’ conditions and communicate concerns to the care team.

We are hiring for all shifts, including:

• Day shifts
• Evening shifts
• Overnight shifts
• Weekday and weekend shifts
• Full-time and part-time schedules

What You’ll Do

As a Skilled Caregiver, you’ll provide personalized, one‑on‑one care that helps seniors remain safe, comfortable, and engaged at home.

Personal Care

• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, hygiene, and mobility
• Provide safe transfers and ambulation assistance
• Assist with feeding and other activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Encourage independence while ensuring client safety and comfort

Specialized Care

• Provide compassionate care for clients living with Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia
• Support clients with chronic conditions, limited mobility, hospice needs, and recovery following hospitalization
• Observe changes in clients’ conditions and communicate concerns to the care team

Companionship and Home Support

• Prepare nutritious meals and provide medication reminders
• Perform light housekeeping and laundry
• Provide transportation to appointments and errands when needed
• Engage clients through conversation, activities, and our Interactive Caregiving™ approach, which promotes purpose, connection, and joy
