Job summary

Home Matters Caregiving – Greater Philadelphia invites compassionate and dependable caregivers to join our team. As a caregiver, you’ll provide essential daily living support, companionship, and personalized care to seniors in their homes, following care plans and maintaining a safe, clean environment.

You’ll perform light housekeeping, meal preparation, hygiene assistance, mobility support, and clear communication with the client and staff.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age (some exceptions may apply).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Minimum of 1 year of professional caregiving experience with seniors.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding as needed.
• Support mobility and transfers.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized environment for clients.
• Follow care plans and communicate changes in condition to appropriate staff.

JOB SUMMARY

Home Matters Caregiving is seeking compassionate, dependable caregivers who are passionate about helping seniors maintain independence and comfort in their own homes. As a Home Matters caregiver, you’ll provide essential daily living support, companionship, and personalized care to our clients. Responsibilities include light housekeeping, meal preparation, hygiene assistance, and mobility support.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be 21 years of age (some exceptions may apply)

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming

REQUIREMENTS

• 1 or more years of formal caregiving experience in senior care

• Reliable transportation

• Familiarity with basic first aid procedures

• Valid driver’s license

• Personal vehicle with proof of auto insurance

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Able to lift up to 50 lbs. using safe, ergonomic movements

• Able to stand, walk, reach, crouch, use hands and fingers

• Able to communicate clearly and effectively

• Physically and mentally able to drive a vehicle

COMPENSATION

Job Type: Full-time / Part-time
Pay: $14–$18 per hour, based on experience and qualifications
