Job summary

TheKey is hiring caregivers to provide in-home, 1:1 care for aging adults in private homes. Earn starting at $18.00 per hour with flexible schedules and the chance to build a meaningful career in a growing field.

You'll receive weekly pay, mileage reimbursement, benefits including medical, dental, vision and a 401(k) with employer match, and paid training—virtual or hands-on—along with ongoing support from local management and caregiver-focused programs.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of professional caregiving experience.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Valid driver’s license with access to a fully insured vehicle.
• Willing to commute 30 minutes minimum.

Responsibilities

• Cognitive & Behavioral Support: provide reminders, redirection, and structure to reduce confusion and anxiety.
• Personal care: assist with dressing, grooming, hygiene and meals.
• Home safety & housekeeping: maintain a calm, organized home environment with basic cleaning and laundry.
• Transportation: drive clients to appointments and run errands.
• Companionship: offer conversation, memory games, and activities tailored to needs.

Responsibilities

As a Caregiver for TheKey, you’ll support clients living with Alzheimer’s, Dementia and/or other cognitive impairments with personalized, 1:1 care in the safety of their homes:

• Cognitive & Behavioral Support: Providing gentle reminders, redirection, and structure to reduce confusion and anxiety
• Personal Care: Assisting with dressing, grooming, hygiene, and meals with respect and patience
• Home Safety & Housekeeping: Helping maintain a calm, familiar, and organized environment with basic cleaning, laundry, and organizing
• Transportation: Driving clients to appointments, running errands, and grocery shopping
• Companionship: Offering conversation, music, memory games, or sensory activities tailored to cognitive needs

Qualifications
