TheKey is seeking compassionate caregivers to provide personalized in-home care for aging adults in McNair, VA. This role focuses on Alzheimer’s and dementia care in a one-to-one home setting, offering flexible shifts and competitive pay.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of professional caregiving experience.
• 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Cognitive & Behavioral Support: Providing gentle reminders, redirection, and structure to reduce confusion and anxiety.
• Personal Care: Assisting with dressing, grooming, hygiene, and meals with respect and patience.
• Home Safety & Housekeeping: Maintaining a calm, familiar, and organized home environment with basic cleaning, laundry, and organizing.
• Transportation: Driving clients to appointments, running errands, and grocery shopping.
• Companionship: Providing conversation, memory games, and activities suited to cognitive needs.

Responsibilities

As a Caregiver for TheKey, you’ll support clients living with Alzheimer’s, Dementia and/or other cognitive impairments with personalized, 1:1 care in the safety of their homes:
