TheKey is hiring caregivers to provide in-home care to aging adults across Illinois. Earn from $19.00 per hour with flexible shifts and weekly pay, plus a benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) with employer match.

As a caregiver you’ll support clients with Alzheimer’s or dementia in 1:1 home settings, assist with daily activities, ensure home safety, provide transportation to appointments, and offer companionship. Requires 2+ years caregiving and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of professional caregiving experience.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license, with access to a fully insured personal vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Cognitive & Behavioral Support: Providing gentle reminders, redirection, and structure to reduce confusion and anxiety.
• Personal Care: Assisting with dressing, grooming, hygiene, and meals with respect and patience.
• Home Safety & Housekeeping: Maintaining a calm, familiar, and organized home with basic cleaning, laundry, and organizing.
• Transportation: Driving clients to appointments, running errands, and grocery shopping.
• Companionship: Engaging in conversation, memory games, or activities tailored to cognitive needs.

Responsibilities
