Job summary

National Calibration Inc. is a Scottsdale-based, ISO 17025 accredited calibration laboratory offering calibration and repair services for test and measurement equipment across Electronics, Force, Linear, Torque, Pressure, and Weight.

The Calibration Technician role is flexible with 0–24 hours per week, requiring testing, calibration, and repair of precision instruments. A dynamic schedule is driven by project demands and client needs, with shifts planned two weeks in advance.

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum 3+ years in industrial calibration.
• Knowledge: Strong understanding of PMEL or TMDE.
• Standard: Deep familiarity with ISO quality systems.

• Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning measurement equipment
• Document data and issue official calibration certificates

Our accredited laboratory provides calibration and repair of test and measurement equipment to include: Electronics, Force, Linear, Torque, Pressure, and Weight.

We are a family-owned business based in Scottsdale, AZ. We are seeking a skilled Calibration Technician for a flexible, variable hour role (0-24 hours per week). You will test, calibrate, and repair precision measurement equipment. The position offers a dynamic schedule based on project demands and client needs.

Job Responsibilities

• Calibrate electrical, mechanical, and dimensional instruments
• Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning measurement equipment
• Document data and issue official calibration certificates
• Ensure strict compliance with ISO/IEC 17025 standards

Professional Experience/Education/ Skills

• Experience: Minimum 3+ years in industrial calibration

Physical Requirements

• Frequently required to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms
• Occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
• Frequently lift or move heavy instruments, up to 50 pounds, short distances
