Responsibilities:

• Install and repair aerial telecommunications cable
• Safely use hand tools and equipment such as wrenches, drills, ladders, lanyards, saws, lashers, climbing hooks, etc.
• Operate mechanized equipment like bucket trucks, digger derricks, excavators
• Direct traffic flow according to DOT guidelines
• Work safely aloft using climbing hooks and ladders
• Work in multiple locations
• Maintain safe working habits and conditions per all regulations and policies

Requirements:

• Be 18 years or older
• Authorization to work in the US
• Valid driver's license
• Experience in aerial and underground telecommunication cable installation and repair
• Ability to climb utility poles and work in bucket trucks and aloft up to 40 feet

Physical and environmental demands: Extended periods of standing, bending, climbing, lifting up to 50 pounds, and working in various weather conditions.
