In accordance with Pay Transparency laws, the estimated salary range for this position is from $20.00 to $26.00 per hour. Actual salaries depend on factors like location, education, experience, and qualifications.

Job Summary

Receives, rotates, cuts, wraps, and merchandises fresh and processed meats, including grinds. Assists in merchandising seafood, prepared foods, cheeses, pre-packed deli items, and the rotisserie chicken area. Supports meat selection and special meat arrangements for members. Maintains sanitation and safety standards in the meat department.

Club Standards

Work as a team to deliver GOLD club standards daily, including stocking all items, executing promotional plans, maintaining visible signage, and keeping the area clean and organized.

Major Tasks and Responsibilities
  • Assist members with meat, poultry, seafood recommendations, and special cuts.
  • Cut, grind, process, package, and label meats according to standards.
  • Maintain product displays and inventory levels.
  • Rotate stock and dispose of expired products following guidelines.
  • Clean and sanitize equipment and areas.
  • Inspect and store incoming meats, ensuring quality standards.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, including working in other departments.
  • Maintain full attendance, which is essential for this role.
Qualifications
  • Completion of a training program or apprenticeship required.
  • Previous meat cutting experience required.
  • Knowledge of automatic or hand wrapping machines preferred.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
Environmental Conditions
  • Work involves moving on hard surfaces, bending, handling, pulling, reaching, and stooping.
  • Frequently lift objects up to 30 pounds; heavier objects may require assistance.
  • Work in cooler areas with temperature extremes and loud noises; occasional exposure to cleaning agents.
