Job summary

Anderson Auto Group in Kingman, AZ is seeking an experienced Body Shop Technician for our Chevy Dealership. You will inspect, repair, and restore damaged vehicles, including panels, frames, and paint.

This role requires precision, welding, metalworking, and expert use of diagnostic and hand tools to ensure safety and quality. Work hours are Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–5:00 pm; travel is not a primary requirement.

Responsibilities

• Inspect damaged vehicles to assess repair needs and determine proper procedures.
• Remove and replace damaged parts, including panels, bumpers, and frames, with precision.
• Straighten vehicle frames and align structural components using specialized equipment.
• Prep surfaces by sanding, masking, and cleaning to ensure high-quality paint application.
• Apply primers, paints, and clear coats following manufacturer specification for durability.
• Utilize welding and specialty tools for metal repairs and reinforcement tasks while adhering to safety standards.
• Perform quality control checks to verify repairs meet safety and aesthetic standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace to support efficiency and hazard reduction.
• Stay updated on automotive repair technology, tools and industry regulations.
