Job summary

Anderson Auto Group in Kingman, AZ is seeking an experienced Body Shop Technician at a Chevrolet dealership to inspect, repair, and restore damaged vehicles. You will work with panels, frames, and paint processes, using diagnostic tools and welding equipment, while maintaining safety and quality standards.

The role is full-time, Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm, with travel unlikely but possible for meetings or training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; automotive training preferred.
• Team-focused with upbeat, positive attitude.
• Clean driving record and reliability.
• Able to pass background check and drug screening.
• Experience with metalworking, painting, and vehicle restoration.
• Precision in measuring, alignment, and diagnostic tools.

Responsibilities

• Inspect damaged vehicles to assess repair needs and determine proper procedures.
• Remove and replace damaged parts, including panels, bumpers, and frames, with precision.
• Straighten vehicle frames and align structural components using specialized equipment.
• Prep surfaces by sanding, masking, and cleaning to ensure high-quality paint application.
• Apply primers, paints, and clear coats following manufacturer specifications.
• Utilize welding and specialty tools for metal repairs and reinforcement tasks while following safety standards.
• Perform quality control checks to verify repairs meet safety and aesthetic standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace to support efficiency and hazard reduction.
• Stay updated on automotive repair technology, tools and industry regulations.
