Jeff Wyler Nissan of Louisville Body Shop is seeking an experienced Body Shop Painter to join our team! The ideal candidate will be responsible for applying paint to vehicles, matching colors accurately, and ensuring high-quality paint finishes. The Body Shop Painter plays a crucial role in the overall aesthetic appeal and quality of our finished vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparing color tint to match paint color
• Mixing and matching paint colors to match vehicle specifications or customer requests
• Preparing surfaces, including sanding, masking, and priming
• Applying top coat and curing to meet OEM standards
• Inspecting finished work for quality and customer satisfaction
• Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
• Ensuring all paint operations are complete
• Collaborating with estimators and body technicians to meet timelines

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in paint operations within a collision center
• Auto Body certification or ASE certifications in refinishing
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Knowledge of painting techniques, equipment, materials
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to perform color matching and blending
• Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and customers
• Ability to reach above and below shoulder level, kneel, bend, squat, and lift objects over 50 lbs.
• Valid driver's license
• Must pass pre-employment drug screening
