Job summary

Uftring Auto Group is seeking a Body Shop Estimator to inspect damaged vehicles, assess collision damage, and generate repair estimates using industry-standard tools. The role emphasizes clear communication with customers and insurers, accurate damage assessment, and coordination of repairs.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of Body Shop estimating experience – CCC ONE estimating experience is preferred.
• Must be able to communicate to customers of various backgrounds – express sensitivity to their concerns and enthusiasm.
• Must be able to work independently, effectively managing time and workflow.
• Basic computer and phone skills are required.
• Must possess a valid IL driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Examine damaged vehicles to determine extent of structural, body, mechanical or interior damage.
• Estimate the cost of labor and parts to repair or replace each damaged item.
• Photograph vehicle damage and upload to the estimating system.
• Schedule repairs and facilitate alternate transportation.
• Create and submit supplementary estimates.
• Communicate with customers and insurance representatives; follow up on services.
